Giving back is a core tenet of being a Little Guy. Little Guys Movers in McKinney is one of our newest locations, and getting involved in the community has been a top priority. One of the best ways to do this? Work with the local Chamber of Commerce!
When the McKinney Chamber of Commerce reached out to us to assist with their golf tournament, we were more than game! The Annual Chamber Golf Classic has been a staple in the community for 26 years. We loved having the opportunity to donate our time and skills to this legendary event.
Our job was to assist with setting up the event. In the past, the Chamber would typically recruit friends with trucks to move items back and forth. So — as moving and transport experts — we were a perfect fit to step in and help out! We moved about a dozen big tote bags that had goodies and other miscellaneous items for the golfers, a variety of signs, a few toys, coolers, 32 cases of water bottles, and a set of brand new golf clubs for the auction.
Everyone was so kind, and it meant a lot to us to make even a small difference for our community. We were honored when Molly Courtright, the Events Manager of the McKinney Chamber of Commerce, reached out to us after the event:
