Meet our newest Little Guy! We’re excited to welcome Josh Davis into the Little Guys Movers family as our Tallahassee Branch Manager. The Tallahassee location opened earlier this month and, along with our new Gainesville location, it’s our first time bringing Little Guys Movers to Florida. We got to chat with Josh about his journey to Little Guys Movers, his commitment to community, and what he loves about Tallahassee.
Where are you originally from? How long have you lived in Tallahassee?
Coming from a military family, I moved a lot throughout my upbringing. I moved to Tallahassee in 2001 and it’s where I’ve lived the longest. It’s my favorite place I’ve lived and I consider it to be home.
What do you love most about Tallahassee and Florida?
My favorite thing about Florida is the natural beauty we have, from the lush greenery of the live oak trees to the beautiful beaches and everything in between. What I love most about Tallahassee is the community. It’s growing bigger every year and has never lost its small town feel.
What about Little Guys Movers made you interested in working for this company?
The number one thing that brought me to Little Guys Movers is their commitment to community. Everything I read online before interviewing was glowingly positive. It makes me proud to be a new member of the team.
Give us a few words on your (and your store’s) commitment to your customers.
My store’s commitment is to always go above and beyond your expectations. Moving can rank as one of the most stressful times in a person’s or family’s life. Our goal is to make your experience with us as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.
Anything else you’d like your customers to know about you?
Moving is my job, but growing my community is my passion. I want this city to be as amazing as we all know it can be, and I want to be a part of achieving that goal.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, you’ll most likely find me outside. Camping, running, cycling, hiking — I just can’t sit still indoors for long. That’s one of the reasons I love Florida so much.
