One of our favorite times of year at Little Guys Movers Murfreesboro is Uncle Dave Macon Days, a “roots rendezvous festival” that honors traditional American music and the career of Uncle Dave Macon, star of the Grand Ole Opry. This festival is a huge part of the Murfreesboro community, with families coming out year after year to enjoy live music, eat some good food, and shop local arts vendors.
Since 2012, Little Guys Movers has helped set up and tear down the stages and vendor booths for this great event. We love being able to donate our time and resources to a festival that means so much to the people of Murfreesboro.
“Besides the historical significance of the event, it’s just a fun weekend for everyone,” says Branch Manager John Manning. “Our guys are usually lining up to be a part of it.”
This year’s event was a huge success, and we can’t wait to be a part of it next year. As Uncle Macon says, it’s the perfect weekend to spend time together and “laugh your blues away…”
