Meet Lydia Reed, Assistant Operations Director at our Fayetteville, Arkansas location.
Lydia started with Little Guys Movers for the same reason many of our employees do — to supplement her income while working on her passion. At LGM, we encourage our employees to do what they love, which is one of the reasons we offer flexible scheduling and part-time positions. Musicians, artists, and outdoor enthusiasts appreciate that their Little Guys careers give them time to dive into their passions. Lydia’s passion is physical fitness. She had just earned her personal training license when she discovered we were hiring. Lydia knew that she wanted an active, physical job, so Little Guys Movers seemed like the perfect fit.
Once she had joined the team, Lydia found that she loved the challenges and hard work that come with the job. Even more than that, she enjoyed working with customers during what is often a major transition in life. Working at Little Guys Movers offered so much more than just a physical career, and Lydia realized how much she loved getting to help others through their moves. With hard work, dedication, integrity, and an aptitude for leadership, Lydia soon advanced within the company to become Fayetteville’s Assistant Operations Director.
As Assistant Operations Director, Lydia focuses on sales, customer service, scheduling, and making sure everything runs as smoothly as possible to keep customers and employees happy and satisfied. But the best part? The sense of community and encouraging environment that comes with being a Little Guy. “I love the Little Guys family that I have,” says Lydia. “We have so much fun, while helping others along the way.”
